Communications Lead

The Communications Lead will guide clients through both proactive and reactive communications, with significant responsibility for crisis management and reputational strategy. You’ll act as a trusted adviser, shape messaging, handle sensitive issues, and deliver high-quality work across multiple concurrent projects.

The role involves managing strong client relationships, contributing to new business proposals, overseeing internal workflows, and mentoring junior colleagues, particularly in crisis communications and advanced copywriting.

We are looking for someone with:

• Exceptional writing skills and the ability to tailor tone and format across channels
• A meticulous eye for detail, accuracy, and quality control
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
• Lots of proven experience in crisis/reputational communications and client advisory is essential
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects and tight deadlines
• Strategic thinking and proactive identification of potential issues
• Commercial acumen including quoting, budget awareness and prompt billing
• A strong network of media contacts is beneficial but not essential
