Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Art Director to help lead the agency’s creative projects and elevate the visual quality of campaigns across multiple channels. You’ll be a hands-on creative with a keen eye for concept, capable of taking minimal direction and transforming it into compelling, standout work.

You’ll work closely with the Creative Director, other Art Directors, designers, copywriters, and freelancers to ensure ideas come to life with impact, whether in brand campaigns, TV/film, photography, or digital projects. Mentoring and inspiring junior designers will also be a key part of your role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead creative projects from concept through to execution across print, digital, social, and multimedia campaigns.
  • Develop original, award-worthy creative ideas independently.
  • Translate strategic briefs into clear, visually compelling solutions.
  • Contribute to copy and messaging to ensure cohesive creative output.
  • Direct photography, TV, and film shoots with confidence and creativity.
  • Manage tight deadlines and changing priorities without compromising quality.
  • Present creative concepts and finished work to clients professionally.
  • Foster collaboration across internal teams and with external partners.
  • Support, coach, and inspire junior creatives to grow their skills.

Experience & Knowledge

To be considered for the role of (Senior Art Director) you must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • 10+ years in a creative agency or integrated environment.
  • Proven track record as an Art Director or Senior Art Director.
  • Exceptional conceptual thinking and design capabilities.
  • Experience applying creative ideas across digital, social, and print formats.
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), with other tools a bonus.
  • Strong understanding of digital design, website production, social media, and banner campaigns.
  • Excellent visualisation skills, from rough sketches to polished mock-ups.
  • Strong presentation and client-facing experience.
  • Confident in taking briefs from inception to completion.
  • Extensive experience directing shoots (TV, film, photography).
  • Knowledge of advertising and marketing best practices to bring campaigns to life.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and passionate about producing creative work that stands out.
